Crocket von Caun is a very handsome 2 year old German Shepherd. Somewhat on the larger side, Crocket has the gentlest eyes and the cutest face that makes passersby stop to pet him. When Crocket first came to Westside, he was scared and would do his GI crawl towards you. How much he has blossomed! Now Crocket comes out of his kennel for walks bursting with happiness; his tail does not stop wagging! He walks wonderfully on leash, despite his large size, and if he walks a little ahead, always turning back to make sure that you’re following. Crocket meets dogs with much enthusiasm and loves playful dogs like himself; he even kissed another dog on the walk. He is very sweet and submissive to his human, always very eager to please, and it is so heartwarming to see how much he has come out of his shell. Crocket is still a little shy around men, especially if they reach out to pet him. This sweetheart loves getting hugs and kisses from his favorite people and, around other dogs, he always shows his playful and goofy side. In his playgroup, he immediately started to play with everyone, and his tail never stopped wagging. Crocket’s happy ending would be to find a home with another dog who has a similar kind but playful spirit, and with his own humans to love.
